One thing Ms. Freida will do, she will give you a plot twist!! Don't be surprised if another title of hers ends up on this list... The Housemaid is the first in the series and was awarded best thriller of 2022. As you see different perspectives of the main characters, you uncover their dark secrets and are left with your toes curling and the pages turning - as soon as things go right, they must also go left.
This one is a great mix of steamy, classy, thug love. Urban fiction is one of my favorite genres and this one gives me just enough ratchet drama and romance that kept me glued to the pages. I read this in one of the book clubs I joined in 2024, and it encouraged very thoughtful discussions amongst us!

These two novellas are only accessible through Kindle Unlimited! But whew chile, they get straight to the point and are absolutely intended for mature audiences! Trick is cute, 2 out of 5 spicy peppers I would say. Treat? That my dear, is 4.5 spicy peppers.
