This was a super creative way to tell a ghost story!
I loved the actual images that were included - they were super eerie and added an extremely creative element to the plot. I consider this an "easy read" in the sense of being able to grasp all details without too much "fluff" and giving me the same feeling as watching a movie.
Mallory is recovering addict looking to rebuild her life. She stumbles upon a job opportunity that lands her the freedom to be the better version of herself and yet....something just isn't right? Now that she's a baby sitter, all eyes on her like a hawk - earning the trust of her new bosses and sponsor will not be an easy feat. The child, Teddy, continues to draw pictures while in an unconscious state and as they become more detailed and precise Mallory begins to piece things together.
Only a paranormal force seems to explain this all, but who is it? And more importantly... why?

QUESTION BANK
1. We know Mallory has been sober for one year, but to immediately put her in childcare was a huge leap of faith. Why did her sponsor only check in when the parents had a complaint? Do you think he set her up for success from the beginning?
|
2. What was the significance of Mallory being in the experiment in the beginning? There is no closure about this experience! |
3. Ted gave me the creeps almost immediately. Did Russell, Mallory's sponsor, know that he was weird all along?
|
4. They continued to question whether the photos were in the wrong order, but what was the correct sequence? |
5. Will Flora come back to Mallory for answers?
