The following review is sponsored. Thank you, Pretty Girls Do Read for an advanced reader copy and including me in Octavia Grant's Street Team. As always, these are my feelings about the book and its contents, not the author themselves although background information about them may be included. This review may include profanity.

The 725 Files: Flight 725 (Book 2) by Octavia Grant & Kaylynn Hunt
We have witnessed Ms. Grant and her shenanigans quite a bit...but Kaylynn Hunt? Come to the FRONT! I was unfamiliar with your game...
Don't hate me, but I have not opened up HWY 725 yet -
I KNOW! But after this one, I'm encouraged to go back! My original purchase was inspired by AlishaReadsAlot over on TikTok a few months back describing the chaos, but let's focus on what's important:
Flight 725 is fast-paced and full of "what the f&%#!" moments. There is not much room for questioning because the next turn hits you QUICK. We start off seeing the core characters' pre-board experience and then action ensues quickly after takeoff. I juggled between a 3.75-4 star rating because the end fell a little flat. It was not until chapter 11 that I considered, "Maybe I should have read the first book" when past memories came up. HWY 725 - the actual highway - was mentioned, but it didn't take away from the story plot or what was going on.
The ending just got wrapped up in a pretty bow too quickly. If it took an additional chapter to resolve the ongoing chaos, I think I would have preferred that. Regardless, I would recommend this quick read to people who are looking for a lot of drama in a short amount of time. Fans of The Housemaid by Freida McFadden would take a liking to this series as well. Don't be like me though, read them in order!
Plan on giving this one a read?
