The following review is sponsored. Thank you, Pretty Girls Do Read for an advanced reader copy and including me in Octavia Grant's Street Team. As always, these are my feelings about the book and its contents, not the author themselves although background information about them may be included. This review may include profanity.

This is a short read and absolutely full of surprises. Read at your own risk, but there are no spoilers here!

The title is exactly what this whole book was...I literally couldn't expect where turns are being made or how unhinged these people really were! I love Octavia Grant because her story telling captures you from the very beginning. The gore, the crazy, and the revenge was on TEN the entire way through - each of Ivory's stories painted a new view point of being unhinged that I couldn't have ever dreamed of. The way everything tied together in the end made me itch for something else from Ms. Grant. She knows how to get into the weird crevices of horror and fiction!

I definitely emphasize to read the trigger warnings.* Otherwise, you'll get hit with a brick from the very beginning! If you can stomach those topics, you're in for a creepy, disgusting, insanely thrilling treat. I honestly haven't stopped thinking about this book since I finished!

The story is told through Olivia Graham's point of view while interviewing an infamous prison inmate. She uses the interview to her advantage by telling very gripping and unhinged stories she wrote, leaving everyone on the edge of their seat wondering what the fuck just happened...
